POSITION: BRANCH/ SUB BRANCH MANAGER

Job Context

Padma Bank Limited is looking for some dynamic individuals as Branch Manager & Sub-Branch Manager

Job Grade: Officers to First Assistant Vice President (FAVP)

Job Responsibilities-KPIs

Manage the overall affairs of Branch/ Sub-Branch and day to day operations
Accountable for achieving set targets of assigned team in terms of Asset and liability
Accountable for overall portfolio quality and collections
Monitor market and competition indicators and formulate strategies to acquire new relationships and maintain existing client to increase profitable market share
Ensure that business risks and controls are well managed. Should be capable to manage all activities of the branch banking with high ethical standards, complying with both internal and external regulations
Oversee reports for budgets and financial reports
Create plans and forecasts that are built to fit future needs
Act as Branch Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer (BAMLCO) and ensure full compliance of AML & TF related issues
Strong knowledge of Branch Operations, General Banking, Lending Operations & Credit Management, and Foreign Trade Operations is required
Collaborate with the affiliated Zonal Head/ Chief Business Officer for smooth functioning and achieving business goals
Provide leadership and trained-up sub-ordinate officials through active guidance & supervision to attain their individual business targets towards achieving the goals of the Sub-branch

Educational Requirements

Minimum Post Graduation/ Graduation (4 Years) in any discipline

Experience Requirements

Minimum 04 to 08 years of working experience in any reputed commercial bank with minimum 2 years managerial experience for Branch Managers and Minimum 02 years experience as Branch Operations Managers for Sub Branch Managers. For higher deserving candidates, requirements may be relaxed.

Additional Requirements

Excellent clientele base for Corporate, SME & Retail Business.
Multitasking and have excellent time management skills
Strong leadership qualities for coaching, mentoring and managing people
Show excitement for growing the business and acquiring new customers
Should have problem-solving attitude
Focus on customer service and lead by example
Sufficient skills to operate Microsoft Office Applications/ banking software
Experience of working in a centralized process and real time on-line banking environment is preferable

Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years as on September 30, 2023
